It was a beautiful morning in early May, and the JB Probable Claws team showed up ready to roll for the Humane Society’s Walk for Animals. Not the kind to sit around and wait for action, the pups walked in with their heads held high; Knowing they had just raised over $1,200 for the worthy cause. The regal beasts were met with oohs and ahhs from the crowd packed with their closest human friends. The Probable Claws Team even noticed a few envious looks from other animal walkers including cats, rabbits, a miniature horse, and a free-roaming snake! But all was well on the streets of St. Paul, thanks to the dedication of these crime fighting scruffers and the amazing organization of the Animal Humane Society team.
The 2.5 mile walk was filled with laughter, barks, meows and even a few hisses. However, the best sound of all were the jubilant cheers when it was announced that the Walk for Animals had reached it’s $1,000,000 goal. The Animal Humane Society receives no federal, state, or county funds, so these walks and other generous donations are what allow these heros to care for animals of all shapes and sizes. Johnson Becker couldn’t be more proud of our team and our four legged friends who helped make this possible!
As for our pack of canine sleuths, The Probable Claws Team… they made it home to fight crime another day. This time.
