David Grounds has participated in several trials, argued at the court of appeals, and helped clients obtain resolution of their legal issues. He dedicates himself to helping the wrongfully injured obtain just compensation for injuries they have suffered through no fault of their own and he works hard on behalf of workers who have not been properly paid by their employers.
One notable case he argued was Commercial Associates, Inc. v. The Work Connection, Inc., where Mr. Grounds helped establish how Minnesota Courts award damages in breach of fiduciary duty lawsuits. As a former defense lawyer, he represented clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to individuals. He now focuses his legal experience representing individuals injured by pharmaceutical companies or by violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
When he is not serving his clients, Mr. Grounds can be found teaching graduate level business law and human resources classes for a nationally known business school; working to end colon cancer through a nonprofit he help create; or on the athletic fields helping kids learn life lessons through playing sports.
