Children’s HearMuffs Recall Lawsuit

The manufacturer of Children’s HearMuffs has issued a recall for more than 31,000 units of its sound compression ear muffs. Children's HearMuffs Recalled

Hearing Lab Technology/Lucid Audio issued the recall through the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), noting the risk of “hearing, projectile and/or burn injury” due to the potential for AAA alkaline batteries to rupture.

The affected HearMuffs were sold at Sam’s Club and Kroger for $30 to $40 from January 2018 through December 2021. Recalled ear muffs have the product name written in blue, have the settings Off, Soothe, and Active, and use two AAA batteries.

The manufacturer received 19 reports of ruptured batteries.

Customers who bought the recalled ear muffs should contact Hearing Lab Technology/Lucid Audio for two replacement AAA batteries.
