Ski-Doo snowmobile models are under recall due to a fire risk, according to an announcement from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The CPSC specified that a “fuel injector hose retainer screw can loosen and cause a fuel leak,” a malfunction that has led to at least five reported leaks and two fires.
The recall includes 6,200 Ski-Doo snowmobiles sold between February 2021 and September 2022. Recalled snowmobiles were sold with the model year 2022 and are equipped with 850 E-Tec and 850 E-Tec Turbo engines.
