Paradise Grills Outdoor Kitchens Recall Lawsuit

Paradise Grills recalled their outdoor kitchen grills due to risk of fire and burn injuries. The company received two reports of the grills exploding due to liquid propane gas buildup. The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the recall notice on Feb. 16, 2023.

Why did Paradise Grills and the CPSC recall the grills?

According to the CPSC, liquid propane gas can build up while the grill’s lid is closed, creating a danger that the grill could explode and cause severe burn injuries.

The company received two incident reports of the recalled grills exploding and causing two severe burn injuries.

Which grills were included in the recall?

The product, officially named First Generation Paradise Grills Outdoor Kitchens, has several models included in the recall. The models are as follows:

  • GX-3
  • GX-4
  • GX-5
  • GX-6
  • GX-7
  • GX-8
  • GX-9
  • GX-10
  • GX-11
  • GX-12
  • GX-14
  • Tahiti
  • Fiji
  • Tropicana
  • Aruba 6
  • Aruba 8

Around 18,000 units were included in the recall. This product was sold at Paradise Grills show rooms and home, boat, and RV shows nationwide, from January 2009 through December 2020. It sold from a range of $4,000 to $15,000.

Consumer should stop using these grills immediately.
