The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) posted a recall of Rollerblade USA’s youth in-line skates due to fall risk. The recall was announced on April 20, 2023.
According to the CPSC, the rear brake support on the skates could fracture or separate, causing the user to become unstable and fall. Rollerblade USA received 11 reports of brake supports fracturing or breaking off the skates.
Approximately 13,400 pairs of the in-line skates have been recalled.
What models of the in-line skates were recalled?
The recall involves two types of youth in-line skates, the Rollerblade Fury Black/White and the Fury G Black/Pink skates.
The skates were sold in three adjustable sizes, ranging from 12J-d, 2-6, and 5-8, and has the following SKU numbers:
- FURY B BKWH 07067000787
- FURY G BKPK 070671007Y9
The CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using these products.
