Husqvarna Snow Blower Recall Lawsuit

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled Husqvarna’s residential snow blowers due to the risk of injury. The recall was announced on July 6, 2023.

Why were the snow blowers recalled?

According to the CPSC, the snow blowers could spontaneously go into drive mode, collide with a nearby person, and cause injuries.

The CPSC received 22 reports of the snow blower’s auger pulley bolt loosening and the drive unexpectedly engaging.

Around 2,700 units were recalled, with an additional 4,400 in Canada.

The recall includes Husqvarna-branded gas-powered residential 300 Series snow blowers with the following model and serial numbers, with their corresponding product numbers:
