On Dec. 7, 2023, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled Bugaboo’s Dragonfly Seat strollers due to a risk of injury to children.
According to the CPSC, if the stroller is in “parent-facing” mode, the backrest of the stroller can set the infant on a negative recline. If a child is unrestrained, they could fall out of their seat and sustain injuries.
Bugaboo received one report in the U.S. of the stroller’s backrest moving downward during use, and seven reports in South Korea.
Approximately 1,000 strollers have been recalled, with an additional 200 in Canada.
