UBBCARE Play Yard Crib Mattresses Recall Lawsuit

UBBCARE play yard crib mattresses have been recalled due to the risk of suffocation to infants. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC are currently accepting new baby product lawsuits. Learn more below.

On Jan. 4, 2023, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled UBBCARE play yard crib mattresses due to violation of federal safety standards and posing choking and suffocation hazards to infants.

According to the CPSC, the recalled crib mattresses do not meet federal safety standards on the thickness test and are missing warnings and labels.

Exclusively sold online from Amazon, approximately 1,000 crib mattresses are included in the recall.

Crib mattresses included in the recall are white with a repeating quilted dot pattern on the mattress.

The CPSC advises parents and caregivers to stop using the crib mattresses immediately and properly dispose of them.

Johnson//Becker lawyers take dangerous baby product cases seriously. The firm has represented several consumers who have tragically lost children to baby products that do not meet the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.
