Beaumont Plus ST Bikes with Disc Brakes Recall Lawsuit

Retrospect’s Beaumont Plus ST Bikes have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled bikes. Learn more below.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the front disc brake rotor and brake pads can be misaligned, which can cause brake failure, posing crash and injury hazards.  In the June 13, 2024, recall, which involved about 530 bicycles, the CPSC warned consumers to immediately stop using the bikes.

The recall involves Beaumont Plus ST City Bike Step-Thru frame bicycles with disc brakes. The bicycles were sold in green (mint), eggshell (white), and bluebell (blue) colors. “Retrospec” is printed on the frame, and the “R” logo is on the bike’s front fork. A silver label near the pedal states, “Retrospect, Made in Tianjin, China, and batch: 12-15-2023.”

The recalled bicycles were sold at stores nationwide from February 2024 through March 2024 for about $400.
