Cargo Bicycles Recall Lawsuit

Cargo Bicycles manufactured by Babboe B.V. have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled bicycles.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the frames of the recalled cargo bicycles can break, posing a fall hazard to the rider. The June 20, 2024, recall involves about 300 bicycles.

The recall includes all Babboe cargo bikes, both two-wheeled and three-wheeled, electric and non-electric. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the bicycles immediately.

The bikes were sold at stores nationwide, including 718 Cyclery, A Street Bike Named Desire, Going Dutch Bikes, Aika Trading LLC, Bicycle Space, Clever Cycles, Dockside Boat, Human Electric Hybrids LLC, La Dolce Velo, Press Well, and the Bike Center. The storage bikes were sold from January 2011 through March 2024 for between $3,500 to $7,000.
