Best Lighting Products High Bay LED Light Fixtures Recall Lawsuit

High Bay LED Light Fixtures have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled light fixtures. Read more below.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the plastic pins securing the LED board can degrade, allowing the energized LED board to come loose and contact the lens or combustible materials, posing a fire hazard. About 710,600 light fixtures are included in this July 11, 2024 recall. According to the CPSC, there have been at least three reports of fires involving the High Bay Light Fixtures. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the light fixtures immediately.

The affected light fixtures are from Best Lighting Products’ LEDFHB line of High Bay Light Fixtures in 90, 105, 135, 178, 180, 215, 265, 320, and 425 watts. The lights were sold in white, and their model numbers are as follows: LEDFHB90, LEDFHB105, LEDFHB135, LEDFHB178, LEDFHB180, LEDFHB215, LEDFHB265, LEDFHB320, and LEDFHB425. The model number can be found on a label on the back of the recalled fixtures.

The High Bay Light Fixtures were sold exclusively through Best Lighting Products distributors from May 2017 through May 2024 for between $60 and $180.
