Manhattan Toy Brilliant Bee Rattles Recall Lawsuit

Sassy Baby’s Manhattan Toy Brilliant Bee Rattles have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled Sassy Baby rattles.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the rattle’s wooden base can detach from the wooden rod and release the three plastic rings, posing a choking hazard to young children. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the Manhattan Toy Brilliant Bee Rattles immediately. About 3,000 rattles were included in the July 18, 2024 recall.

The recalled baby toy has a plastic light-up bee attached to a wooden rod and wooden base. There are three plastic rings (blue, green, and orange) on the rod and a baby-safe mirror on the bottom of the base. The model has non-removable batteries and is about seven inches tall and four inches wide. The model number “166700 CQ” is printed on the base.

The recalled Sassy Baby rattles were sold at independent specialty toy stores nationwide and online at Manhattantoy.com from May 2024 through June 2024 for about $16.
