Trader Joe’s Mango Tangerine Scented Candles Recall Lawsuit

Mango Tangerine Scented Candles by Trader Joe’s have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are accepting new cases for recalled Trader Joe’s candles.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the candle flame can spread from the wick to the wax, causing a larger-than-expected flame. This poses a potential fire hazard. About 653,000 candles are included in the August 15, 2024 recall. The Trader Joe’s candles are white with a cotton wick in a tin container. The SKU 56879 is located on the bottom of the tin container. The candles were sold at Trader Joe’s stores nationwide in June 2024.

Fourteen incidents involving high flames have been reported, including three reports of property damage and two burn injuries. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the candles immediately.
