ALDI Ambiano Single Serve Coffee Makers Recall Lawsuit

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled coffee makers can expel hot water from the top of the machine, posing a burn hazard. About 28,000 coffee makers were included in the August 15, 2024 recall. The coffee makers were sold in blue, pink, purple, and gray, measuring approximately 11” x 5” x 12.” Ambiano is printed on the side of the appliance. The recalled model numbers are as follows: 708924 and 708925. The model numbers can be found on the rating label at the bottom of the unit.

More than twenty-five incidents have been reported, including three reports of burn injuries sustained from the expelled hot water. The coffee makers were sold at Aldi grocery stores in 38 states and the District of Columbia from July 2023 through September 2023 for about $50.
