What Has Been Recalled?
Ariens has recalled specific models of its DELUXE-, PLATINUM-, and PROFESSIONAL-series Snow-Thro snowblowers. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled snow throwers.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled snow thrower impeller and auger assembly can rotate even after the operator control lever is released. This may pose a laceration hazard if a user contacts the rotating parts inside the housing enclosure at the front of the machine.
The February 6, 2025, recall includes about 7,000 bright orange snow throwers with rear wheels or tracks. The snowblowers were sold at authorized Ariens dealers nationwide, Ace Hardware, Blain’s Farm & Fleet, Do It Best, Family Farm & Home, Mills Fleet Farm, Northern Tool and Equipment, Lowe’s, and True Value. The snow throwers were also available for purchase online at the above stores. The machines were sold from August 2024 through October 2024 for between $1,770 and $5,440.
