According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the twin stroller violates multiple safety regulations for strollers. In the July 25, 2024 recall, the CPSC notes that the front seat in the forward-facing seat poses an entrapment hazard to children and that failures with the restraint system and rear seat enclosures pose a fall hazard to children. The CPSC also reports that the strollers with a black grab bar can pose a choking hazard if bitten. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the strollers immediately.
The recall involves about 3,045 strollers with the model number BR-C708S. The strollers have black and gray fabric, black frames and wheels, and canopies that can be either up or down. The date of manufacture, model number, and “STIGER, INC.” can be found on a label above the back right wheel. The recalled strollers were sold exclusively online at Amazon.com from July 2018 through September 2023 for about $200.
