Brompton T-Line Foldable Bicycles Recall Lawsuit

Foldable bicycles by Brompton have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled bicycles.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the alignment between the handlebar and front wheel may cause the rider to lose control of the bicycle due to insufficient torquing of steerer clamp bolts, posing a fall hazard. According to the CPSC, there have been at least 13 reports of incidents due to malfunctioning steering. The August 1, 2024 CPSC recall warns consumers to stop riding the bicycles immediately.

The recalled Brompton T-Line Bikes are 25.4” H x 23.6” W x 12.6” D when folded. “Brompton” is printed on the frame’s center tube. The bikes were sold in Blasted Titanium color. The foldable bikes were sold at independent bike dealers and Brompton Junction Stores nationwide and online at us.brompton.com from February 2024 through June 2024 for between $5,225 and $5,500.
