According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the May 2, 2024, recall involves over 29,000 fridges. The commercial refrigerators are black and stainless steel in color and have double, triple, or sliding doors. The model and serial numbers for the units are printed on a label located inside the refrigerator cabinet by the left door. The following models and serial numbers are included in the recall:

The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the refrigerators immediately. There have been 14 reports of fire resulting in property damage. Dealers and distributors sold the refrigerators directly to commercial food service businesses from January 2018 through June 2020 for between $3,000 and $8,000.
