COSORI issued a voluntary recall of their air fryers due to fire and burn injury risk. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a recall notice on February 23, 2023.
Why did COSORI recall their air fryers?
According to the CPSC, a wire connection in the recalled products can overheat and catch fire.
COSORI recalled their air fryers due to 205 reports of the products catching fire, burning, melting, overheating, and smoking, including 10 reports of burn injuries and 23 reports of property damage.
Two million units have been recalled, with 250,000 in Canada and 21,000 in Mexico.

The COSORI Air Fryers were sold by Best Buy, Target and The Home Depot stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Adorama.com, Bedbathandbeyond.com, Cosori.com, eBay.com, Homegoods.com, Kohls.com, Lowes.com, Macys.com, QVC.com, Staples.com, Vesync.com, Walmart.com, Wayfair.com, Wellbots.com and Woot.com from June 2018 through December 2022 for between $70 and $130.
The CPSC advises that consumers should immediately stop using the recalled COSORI air fryer.
