Cuisinart Blender/Juicer Recall Lawsuit

The Cuisinart blender/juicer has been recalled due to laceration injuries. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker are currently accepting new Cuisinart lawsuits. Learn more below.

Cuisinart has announced the recall of a line of blender/juicers, citing the risk of a laceration hazard.

The recall was announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), which stated that “the nut holding the blender blade assembly can loosen and detach from the base when in use, posing a laceration hazard if a consumer comes in contact with a loose blade.”

The recall affects about 66,000 Cuisinart Compact Blender & Juice Extractor Combos with model number CBJ-450. The blenders were sold between November 2021 and August 2022. Cuisinart sold the devices online at Amazon.com, Macys.com, and other websites, as well as at Crate & Barrel and other department stores.

Cuisinart has received three reports of blender blades detaching.

Consumers in possession of the recalled Cuisinart blender/juicer devices are instructed to stop use of the products immediately.
