The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled DR Power Equipment’s tow-behind field and brush mowers due to fire and burn hazards.
According to the CPSC, the mowers’ exhaust pipes can break and cause damage to the product, causing it to overheat. Overheating mowers pose a risk of fire and burn injuries, especially near dry cuttings or spilled fuel.
There have been 14 fires reported leading to mower damage.
Approximately 3,000 mowers are affected by the recall.
