DR Power Equipment Tow Behind Field & Brush Mowers Recall Lawsuit

Four models of DR Power Equipment’s Tow Behind Field and Brush Mowers have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled DR Power Tow Behind Field and Brush Mowers.

What is the Problem?

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the blade carrier spindle bolt can become loose, causing the blade assembly to detach as the mower operates, posing a laceration hazard to the user. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using these field and brush mowers immediately. There have been at least 10 reports of blade carrier detachments. The National Library of Medicine stated that there were an estimated 934,394 lawn mower injuries treated in U.S. emergency departments from 2005 to 2015, with an average of 84,944 injuries annually.

What Models Have Been Recalled?

The February 20, 2025, recall includes about 900 black and orange DR Power Tow Behind Field and Brush Mowers. The recalled mowers have the following model and serial numbers, which can be found on the front frame of the mower:
