Fisher-Price Baby Biceps Dumbbell Toy Gift Sets Recall Lawsuit

Fisher-Price’s Baby Biceps Gift Set has been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled baby toys.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the gray caps on the end of the dumbbell toy can come off, posing a choking hazard to infants. The August 29, 2024 recall includes about 366,200 baby toys. The gift set includes a plastic dumbbell toy. The toy’s bar is gray, with orange and red plastic weights on each side. The model number GJD49 is on the back of the kettlebell toy in the gift set.

There have been at least seven reports of the ends of the dumbbell set coming off the product. The CPSC warns consumers to take the dumbbell toy from children immediately. The toys were sold at Walmart, Kohls, Fred Meyer, Hobby Lobby, Marshalls, TJMaxx, Best Buy Baby, and Target stores nationwide. The product was also sold online at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Zulily.com, Target.com, and other websites from April 2020 through August 2024 for about $18.
