GOETAS Pool Drain Covers Recall Lawsuit

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled drain covers do not conform to the entrapment protection regulations of the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGBA), posing an entrapment hazard to swimmers and bathers.

The September 12, 2024 recall involves about 2,500 pool drain covers. The white, plastic drain covers measure about seven inches high and have top grates that measure about nine inches in diameter. The pool drain covers were sold exclusively at Amazon.com from March 2022 through July 2024 for about $61.
