Guava Roam Strollers Recall Lawsuit

Guava Family has recalled its Roam Strollers. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled Guava Roam Strollers.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the stroller’s brakes can fail to engage or unexpectedly disengage, posing fall and injury hazards to children.

The November 7, 2024, recall includes about 8,500 Guava Roam First Generation three-wheel foldable strollers. The strollers are “first generation” if they have a manufacture date between July 2020 and December 2021. The strollers have a black frame with the “Guava” logo in gray on the frame. The strollers measure about 39 inches long by 25 inches wide by 43 inches high and weigh about 29 pounds.

The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the strollers immediately. There have been at least 67 reports of the brake lock disengaging and at least 152 reports of the brake pedal not engaging when pushed down.

The strollers were sold online at guavafamily.com and babylist.com from August 2020 through October 2023 for between $500 and $550.
