Halloween Projector Flashlights Recall Lawsuit

NPW Group has recalled its Halloween Projector Flashlights. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled flashlights.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the flashlights can overheat and melt the outer casing, posing fire and burn hazards. The October 10, 2024, recall includes about 4,700 children’s flashlights. The flashlights are orange with white stripes and a black end piece. They measure about six inches long by one inch wide. The product comes with three Halloween-themed projector covers, including pumpkin, ghost, and skull patterns that fit over the black end piece to change the flashlight pattern.

At least nine reports of the flashlights overheating have been documented, including at least four reported burn injuries. The Halloween Projector Flashlights were sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com in September 2024 for about $3.
