What is the Problem?
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled children’s bunk beds violate federal regulations for bunk beds because the spacing between the guardrail and end support, as well as the spacing around the mattress supports, exceeds the allowed limits, posing entrapment and strangulation hazards to children. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the bunk beds immediately.
