JoyJolt Declan Glass Coffee Mugs Recall Lawsuit

JoyJolt Drinkware Declan Single-Wall Glass Coffee Mugs have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled coffee mugs.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the JoyJolt glass mugs can break and crack, posing burn and laceration hazards. The recall, issued on June 20, 2024, includes about 580,000 coffee cups. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the glassware immediately.

The JoyJolt Declan Single-Wall Glass Coffee Mugs, model number JG10242, were sold in a 16-ounce size and in a set of six. The model numbers are printed on the product packaging.

There have been 103 incidents of the glass coffee mugs breaking, resulting in 56 injuries, including 35 burns and 21 cuts. Seven of these incidents required medical attention, including surgery and stitches.

The coffee mugs were sold online at Amazon.com and on MM Products Inc.’s website JoyJolt.com from September 2019 through May 2022 for between $20 and $25 for a set of six mugs.
