On Jan. 25, 2024, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled Allegro plastic side chairs due to fall and injury hazards.
According to the CPSC, the recalled plastic chairs can break during use and cause the consumer to suffer injuries. The CPSC received 16 reports of the recalled plastic chairs breaking and two injuries.
Approximately 53,800 plastic chairs are included in the recall.
The recall includes the following model numbers and corresponding colors of the Lancaster Table & Seating brand Allegro plastic side chairs intended for outdoor use.

The CPSC advises consumers to cease use of Allegro plastic side chairs immediately.
