LINKCOO Blackout Roller Window Shades Recall Lawsuit

Linkcoo Blackout Roller Window Shades have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled window coverings.

What is the Problem?

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled window shades have long operating cords that can cause death or serious injury to children due to strangulation and entrapment hazards. The CPSC recommends that consumers stop using the window shades immediately.

Are My Window Shades Included in this Recall?

The March 27, 2025, recall includes about 16,300 LINKCOO corded window shades. The roller shades were sold in black, white, and gray. The sizes range between 10 and 75 inches wide and 79 inches high. “LINKCOO” is printed on a label sticker on the shades’ lower pole.

The recalled roller shades were sold exclusively online at Amazon.com from December 2022 through September 2024 for between $20 and $88.

Why are there Federal Regulations Concerning Window Coverings?

The CPSC’s goal is to eliminate the ongoing tragedy of child deaths on corded custom window coverings. The Commission is aware of 209 fatal and near-miss strangulations on window covering cords that occurred among children 8 years old and younger from January 2009 through December 2021.
