Magic Chef Air Fryers have been recalled by the manufacturer due to the risk of fires or burns.
Newair announced the recall through the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), citing a concern of units “overheating.” Newair sold about 11,750 of the Magic Chef Air Fryers involved in the recall. The affected air fryers were sold between July 2018 and September 2020.
Magic Chef Air Fryers are sold on Amazon.com, Target.com, Wayfair.com, and Newair.com. The recalled appliances come in black or white, and have a model number of MCAF56DB or MCAF56DW.
