Mighty Bliss Heating Pad Recall Lawsuit

More than 540,000 Mighty Bliss electric heating pads have been recalled after at least 286 reports of the heating pads overheating, burning, or sparking, and resulting in 31 reported injuries.

The manufacturer of an electric heating pad has issued a recall, citing the risk of electric shock, burns, and rashes or irritated skin.

The Mighty Bliss Electric Heating Pad was sold on Amazon.com and Walmart.com, according to the announcement from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). More than 540,000 of the heating sold between July 2021 and July 2022 are subject to the recall.

According to the announcement:

“Use of this product may lead to electric shocks and/or skin irritation, rashes, blisters, or burns. Severe burns may result in infection or formation of scar tissue.

The company has received 286 reports of the heating pads overheating, burning, or sparking, resulting in 31 reported injuries.
