Mill Valley Jr. Children’s Dressers Recall Lawsuit

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled dressers are unstable if they are not properly anchored to the wall. The dressers pose a serious tip-over and entrapment hazard that could result in injuries or death to children. The dressers also violate the STURDY Act.

The May 2, 2024, recall involves about 200 dressers. The dressers come in either white or cherry with model numbers C2192Y-N04 and C2193Y-N04. The chest of drawers is about 58 inches long by 18 inches wide by 35 inches high. The dresser weighs about 132 pounds. There is a white label on the rear panel that has “C2192Y-N04” (white) or “C2193Y-N04” (cherry).

The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the chests immediately and to keep children away from them. The dressers were sold at Rooms To Go stores nationwide and online at roomstogo.com from December 2023 through January 2024 for about $450.
