Ocean State Job Lot Mini Greenhouse & Garden Bed Recall Lawsuit

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled Ocean State Job Lot’s Calipso and Tiller & Rowe Growing-Table Mini Greenhouse and Raised Garden Bed due to fire hazards. The recall was posted on Feb. 15, 2024.

According to the CPSC, the mini greenhouses can overheat and cause a fire, posing a risk of burn injuries to consumers.

Approximately 12,800 units are included in the recall.

The CPSC received ten reports of the recalled mini greenhouses overheating as well as a burn injury report.

The recall affects all products listed under the name Calipso “Combi” and Tiller & Rowe “Growing Table-Mini Greenhouse and Raised Garden Bed.”

The CPSC advises consumers to stop using the recalled greenhouses immediately and destroy the product by writing “DO NOT USE” in permanent marker. Consumers should then properly dispose of the product.
