Origin 21 Wall Mirrors Recall Lawsuit

Origin 21 Wall Mirrors, sold exclusively at Lowe’s Stores, have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled mirrors.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled mirrors can detach from the metal plate used for hanging, causing the mirror to fall, posing laceration and impact hazards. The August 1, 2024 recall involves about 28,000 mirrors. There have been 15 reports of the mirrors separating from the metal hanger and falling. The CPSC warns consumers to take the mirrors down immediately.

The recall includes Origin 21 oval and rectangular wall mirrors. The mirrors were sold in black metal frames. The rectangular mirror (model number L1-MH-1647) measures 22 inches wide and 31 inches long. The oval mirror (model number L1-MH-1693) measures 24 inches wide and 36 inches long. The model numbers can be found on the back of the mirrors. The mirrors were sold at Lowe’s stores and online at Lowes.com from October 2023 through April 2024 for between $60 and $80.
