Peg Perego Inclined Sleeper Bassinet Recall Lawsuit

Peg Perego’s YPSI and Z4 inclined sleeper bassinets have been recalled due a violation of the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC are currently accepting new inclined sleeper lawsuits. Learn more below.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled Peg Perego’s inclined sleeper bassinets for YPSI and Z4 strollers due to choking and falling hazards. The recall was posted on Nov. 30, 2023.

According to the CPSC, the recalled bassinets violate the Safe Sleep for Babies Act due to having an inclined angle greater than 10 degrees and not possessing a stand.

In the past, the attorneys at Johnson//Becker have handled multiple cases involving infant fatalities from inclined sleeper products, which occurred due to the infants being able to roll from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained.

Approximately 550 inclined sleepers are included in the recall.
