Resolute Cable Multi-Station Exercise Equipment Recall Lawsuit

Precor has recalled its Resolute Cable Multi-Station Exercise Equipment. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled exercise equipment.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), A pin can fail to engage in the exercise equipment’s vertical rail causing the pulley carriage to drop unexpectedly during use, posing an impact injury hazard to users. The CPSC and Precor have received at least nine reports of the pulley dropping during use, including at least two cases involving head injuries.

The December 26, 2024, recall includes about 834 Resolute Cable Multi-Stations (model number RMS905). The exercise equipment consists of an adjustable pulley carriage that allows users to perform cable resistance exercises from different heights along a vertical rail. “Precor” is located above the vertical rail, and the model number is printed on the top frame of the pulley assembly.  The exercise equipment has either a silver, black, or white frame.

The Resolute Cable Multi-Stations were sold to fitness facilities nationwide from July 2023 through October 2024 for between $3,020 to $3,340.
