Ladders sold under the names Cottage Colors and Canyon Lake are included in the recall.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of ladders used to navigate bunk beds sold by Rooms To Go. rooms-to-go-ladder-recall-injury-lawsuit

The company recalled 2,100 ladders, citing the insufficient space between rungs, which pose “entrapment and strangulation risks,” according to the announcement.

Ladders sold under the names Cottage Colors and Canyon Lake are included in the recall. Specifically, ladders that came as part of a bed arrangement with an accompanying hutch are subject to recall.

The bed-and-hutch products were sold between April 2019 and March 2022 on Room To Go’s website and in its stores nationwide. Customers who purchased the recalled ladders should remove them and contact Rooms To Go for information about a replacement ladder.
