Ross Stores’ Metal-framed Armchairs Recall Lawsuit

Metal-framed wicker-style armchairs by Ross Stores have been recalled. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled Ross Stores’ armchairs.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the armchair’s legs can bend or break, posing fall and injury hazards. The July 11, 2024 recall affects about 1,600 chairs. According to the CPSC, there have been at least five reports of the chair legs breaking, resulting in injuries to users. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the chairs immediately.

The recall involves wicker-style armchairs. The chairs measure about 33 inches tall, 28 inches deep, and 26 inches wide. The Ross Stores’ chairs were sold in white/green (SKU number 400266563392) or white/gray (SKU number 40026653330). The SKU number can be found attached to the back of the chair as well as on a sticker attached to the chair’s leg. The wicker-style armchairs were sold at Ross Stores nationwide from February 2024 through April 2024 for about $50.
