Shimano Bike Alloy Stems Recall Lawsuit

Shimano recalled its PRO Vibe Alloy stems for road bikes due to the risk of injury. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) posted the recall on May 18, 2023.

Why were the bike stems recalled?

Approximately 400 units have been recalled, with around 90 in Canada.

What bike stem models have been recalled?

Shimano’s recall involves all PRO Vibe Alloy black bicycle stems, and has a silver “V” logo on the faceplate.

The CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled bicycles.
