According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), an interior connection in the recalled Siemens SolarReady Meter Combos can overheat, posing a fire hazard. The catalog numbers for the products are MC2442S1200SC and MC2442S1200FC. They were manufactured from August 2021 through August 2022. The catalog number and date stamp are on a label on the inside of the front panel of the solar meter. The meters were sold at electrical distributors nationwide from August 2021 through April 2024 for between about $640 and $990.
