Squeeze Plush Ball Monsters Toys and Easter Squeezable Toys Recall Lawsuit

Shawshank LEDz has recalled its Squeeze Plush Ball Toys. In addition to being toys, the plush balls can be used as sensory devices, fidgets, or for stress relief. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled squeeze balls.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the squeeze ball toys contain a combination of liquid and glitter inside a thick membrane. If the membrane ruptures, the glittery water can splash onto a child’s face and body, posing an injury hazard. The August 22, 2024 recall includes about 9,600 fidgets. The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the Shawshank LEDz toys immediately.

The Monster Squeezable toys have model number 702053 and UPC 810447020536. The Easter Squeezable toys have model number 768152 and UPC 810067681520. The model number and UPC are printed on a removable tag. The children’s plush fidget toys were sold at Ace Hardware Stores nationwide from March 2024 through July 2024 for about $5.
