BeyondMedShop’s Vaunn Medical Adult Bed Rails are recalled due to entrapment and suffocation hazards. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) posted the recall on Mar. 9, 2023.

Why were BeyondMedShop’s bed rails recalled?

According to the CPSC, BeyondMedShop recalled the Vaunn bed rails due to a serious risk of suffocation and becoming trapped. When the bed rails are attached to an adult’s bed, users can become trapped between the bed rail and the side of the mattress.

102,000 units have been recalled.

What model of bed rails were recalled?

The recall includes two models of the Vaunn Medical Bed Assist Rails.

  • M876N-AAWH-APVM
  • M876N-SABK-APVM

Vaunn bed rails were sold online at BeyondMedShop.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and eBay from December 2018 through December 2022. The CPSC recommends consumers to immediately stop use of these bed rails.
