Vornado Air recalled their Portable small tower space heaters due to fire hazards. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) posted the recall on Mar. 9, 2023.

Why did Vornado recall the space heaters?

Vornado Air recalled its Portable SRTH small room tower space heaters due to fire hazards. According to the CPSC, a manufacturing error resulted in a miswiring in the heaters. As a result, the heaters can overheat and catch fire.

1,450 space heaters were recalled.

Which models are included in the space heaterVornado Space Heater Recalled recall?

Vornado Air SRTH small room tower space heaters with a JUL22 date code and TYPE SRTH are included in the space heater recall. The date codes are located on the bottom of the heater at the beginning of the serial number. The serial numbers are printed on the silver rating label.

Vornado’s space heaters were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond and Amazon.com from November 2022 through December 2022.

The CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled space heaters.
