YourHealthToolkit Children’s Weighted Blanket Recall Lawsuit

On Oct. 12, 2023, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled YourHealthToolkit’s children’s weighted blankets due to a risk of asphyxiation to children.

According to the CPSC, children can become trapped by unzipping and entering the blanket, causing a suffocation hazard.

Approximately 280 blankets are included in the recall.

The recalled blankets include 36-inch by 48-inch five-pound weighted blankets sold on Amazon. The blankets have a zipper pouch and are sold in aqua blue and gray on the fabric quilting.

The CPSC advises consumers to stop using the recalled blankets immediately.
