Stanley Switchback and Trigger Action Travel Mugs Recall Lawsuit

Stanley has recalled its Switchback and Trigger Action Travel Mugs. The lawyers at Johnson//Becker, PLLC, are currently accepting new cases for recalled Stanley Travel Mugs.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the mug’s lid threads can shrink when exposed to heat, causing the lid to detach during use and posing a burn hazard. The CPSC and Stanley have received at least 38 reports of burn injuries to consumers from these mugs.

The December 12, 2024, recall includes about 2.6 million Stanley Switchback and Trigger Action stainless steel travel mugs. The recalled double-walled mugs were sold in a variety of colors, including black, white, and green, in 12 oz., 16 oz., and 20 oz. sizes. The Stanley logo appears on the front and bottom of the mug.

The Stanley tumblers were sold at Amazon.com, Walmart, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Target, and other stores nationwide and online from June 2016 through December 2024 for between $20 and $50.
